We use Whisper.cpp running directly on your Mac or PC. Your audio is processed entirely on-device using your GPU (Metal/CUDA/Vulkan) or CPU - no cloud services involved.

Where is my meeting data stored?+
Everything stays on your device. Audio recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored locally in your user data folder. You own your data - we never see it.
Does Clearminutes upload my audio to the cloud?+
No. Never. All processing happens locally. The only cloud features are optional: syncing encrypted backups (Pro) and fetching AI model updates.
Can I use Clearminutes for confidential meetings?+
